It's always nice to go home. I miss all the simple things about it. Things I never appreciated before. Like, walking in the rain. I can't remember the last time I was barefoot outside. (Yes I know I have weird looking toes.)
回家的感覺真好. 想念很多以前不會珍惜的小事情. 像, 在雨中光著腳散步. 不知道多久沒有在外面光著腳走路了. (好啦, 我知道我的脚指頭長得很奇怪.)
So on the first day back I was chillin' at my godmother's house, enjoying the steady pitter patter of the rain and breathing in the wonderful fresh air that I missed when I was in Taiwan.
回去的第一天, 我去了我乾媽的家. 那天下大雨, 我一邊享受著下雨的聲音, 一邊享受著台北不會有的新鮮空氣.
As you can see, it was really pissing down.
下得傾盆大雨.
Suddenly, I heard a loud bang.
突然聽到 "棒" 一聲.
Coz of the heavy rain, the mailman's motorbike skidded and he fell off, motorbike falling on top of him. It took 4 of us to lift the bike up because the box carrying the mail was super heavy.
來送信的郵差因為雨下得太大不小心滑倒了, 摩托車壓著他的脚. 摩托車超重,我們費了四個人的力才把摩托車扛起來.
Well he certainly fell at the right place coz my godma is a nurse so she had all sorta supplies at home and we disinfected his wound (the motorbike parts put a hole in his ankle) and fixed him up nice and good.
他那天真的來對地方了. 我乾媽是位護士所以家裡都有很多醫療品. 我們在他的傷口消毒, 還幫他把傷口包得美美的.
Well hope he's all better now. Definitely an exciting first day for me!
希望他的傷口不會有事. 真是精彩的第一天!
