.to eat or not to eat (meat).

I am a meat lover and I thought my virgin vegetarian meal would leave me highly unsatisfied. I was quite mistaken. Everything that I put in my mouth was like a nice little orgasmic surprise. I say little because, well, I still like meat. :p But the whole thing turned out to be a rather nice adventure.

A six course meal, and the last one, compliments from the chef.
Every dish was pretty amazeballs! I felt a little cheated at first with the sashimi platter because i was expecting to taste fish but nope. Just konyakku jelly made to look like fish!

The whole place was styled very japanese, with tatami mats all over, and big red umbrellas that beckoned to us for photo ops and of course, how could we say no?

My red dress and nude shoes, both from Flaunt.

I really enjoyed the food, so I decided to take my room mate there for her birthday for a 10 course but we were talking so much, i forgot to snap pics of some dishes. I have to say, wasn't as yummy as the first time because they used a lot of red wine vinegar and plum which we're BOTH (what are the chances) not fans of , but still pretty good.

Ok, there's that VILE red wine vinegar concoction that we barely touched.

We went matchy matchy that day in pants and flats!

And a cute little red house outside. Matched my blue shoes quite well I thought. :p

This is very random but I bought her a Thai coconut coz she loves to drink it. TOTALLY did not think about how hard it was gonna be to open and drink.

10 minutes of pounding, drilling, 3 different knives and a tiny screwdriver later...

I managed to make a TINY whole just big enough to slip a twirly straw in.

The next day, she took me to a sushi restaurant which was bloody yummy and convinced me that sure, I love my greens but I could never be vegetarian.
Sorry, it was so yummy this was the only thing i remembered to take a picture of. Its chawanmushi with fish stomach (i think) and so tasty i wanted to stick my face in there to lick the bowl.

We both then took a romantic stroll to burn off the calories and realised, Christmas is right round the corner! Can't wait!
